Job summary

Mills Oakley is seeking a Lawyer/Associate with 2-3 years’ PQE to join our Sydney Insurance team, supporting senior lawyers on personal injury matters including public liability, CTP and professional negligence. You will handle investigations, drafting, and court processes while building client relationships.

You’ll work with some of Australia’s largest insurers, engaging in research, document review, and strategic case assessment in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent research, writing and analytical skills.
• Experience in insurance litigation preferred.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare draft advices on liability and damages.
• Investigate claims and review expert reports.
• Draft and file subpoenas, defences and cross-claims.
• Attend interlocutory Court applications and mediations.
• Maintain client relationships and collaborate with teams.
