Job summary

RSGx is recruiting Instrumentation Technicians for a major urea project in Western Australia. You will operate in a heavy industrial environment, ensuring instrumentation and control systems perform safely and efficiently.

You will be trade-qualified with fault-finding skills, reading drawings, and experience with PLCs and industrial networks. The role offers a 14:7 roster, modern tools, and ongoing training within a major contractor.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Instrumentation/Electrical or Process Control background.
• Experience maintaining instrumentation and control systems in industrial settings.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and documentation.
• Commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, calibrate and maintain field instrumentation and control equipment.
• Calibrate and verify sensors (pressure, temp, flow, level, analytical).
• Diagnose faults across instrumentation and PLC networks.
• Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
• Maintain valves, actuators, transmitters and sensors.
• Support shutdowns, upgrades and capital projects.
