Job summary

atWork Australia is seeking an experienced instructional design professional to join on a 6-month project focused on creating Community Services based learning programs for our frontline employment services teams.

This role involves designing learning solutions, developing engaging content, and partnering with internal and external subject matter experts to build capability across the business. Hybrid working arrangements across Australia are available.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging learning programs across multiple learning modalities.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leaders to translate complex information into practical learning solutions.
• Research and source external learning programs and providers to meet learning needs.
• Manage multiple learning projects, delivering outcomes on time and within scope.
• Monitor learning effectiveness, completion rates and feedback, using insights to improve outcomes.
• Support LMS administration, ensuring compliance and mandatory training requirements are met.
• Facilitate engaging training programs for diverse audiences across Australia.

Design learning programs in Community Services

We're looking for an experienced instructional design professional to join atWork Australia on a 6-month project focused on creating Community Services based learning programs for our frontline employment services teams.

This is not a traditional training facilitation role. You'll spend most of your time designing learning solutions, developing engaging content, and partnering with internal and external subject matter experts to build capability across the business.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop engaging learning programs across multiple learning modalities.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leaders to translate complex information into practical learning solutions.
• Research and source external learning programs and providers to meet learning needs.
• Manage multiple learning projects, delivering outcomes on time and within scope.
• Monitor learning effectiveness, completion rates and feedback, using insights to improve outcomes.
• Support LMS administration, ensuring compliance and mandatory training requirements are met.
• Facilitate engaging training programs for diverse audiences across Australia.

Qualifications

You’ll be an experienced learning professional who enjoys building programs from the ground up.

You’ll bring:

• Significant instructional design experience, gained across all learning modalities
• Commercially minded, designing learning solutions aligned to business needs
• Demonstrated ability to get things done, meet expectations, and deliver on commitments
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes
• Analytical and solutions-focused, using data and insights to identify capability gaps and learning opportunities
• Organised and proactive, managing competing priorities and delivering to deadlines
• Engaging facilitator for virtual and face-to-face learning

Experience in employment services, community services, disability sectors will be highly regarded.
