Job summary

Moreton Hire is seeking a hands-on Exhibition & Event Installer to join our dynamic team. You will install and dismantle exhibition stands, displays, furniture, and other event infrastructure across Australia, with regular interstate travel and opportunities to work internationally.

The role requires a practical, physically fit individual with a current driver's licence, MR/HR truck licence, White Card, and the ability to read plans.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Driver's Licence.
• MR or HR Truck Licence required.
• White Card
• Experience in exhibitions or events advantageous.
• Ability to read plans and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install and dismantle exhibition stands and event infrastructure.
• Load, unload and transport event equipment safely.
• Assist with bump-in and bump-out activities.
• Install flooring, walls, signage and furniture.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Travel interstate and overseas as required.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and hands‑on Exhibition & Event Installer to join our growing team.

This is a highly varied role where no two weeks are the same. You'll be involved in installing and dismantling exhibition stands, custom‑built displays, furniture, signage, flooring, structures, and event infrastructure for some of Australia's largest events and exhibitions.

The role includes regular travel throughout Australia and opportunities to work internationally on major exhibitions, trade shows, government pavilions, and special events.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and dismantle exhibition stands, shell scheme systems, custom displays and event infrastructure.
• Load, unload and transport event equipment safely.
• Assist with exhibition bump‑in and bump‑out activities.
• Install flooring, walls, signage, furniture, lighting and display elements.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Work from plans, elevations and installation drawings.
• Assist with warehouse preparation and stock management when not on site.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure installations meet client expectations.
• Maintain safe work practices and comply with WHS requirements at all times.
• Represent Moreton Hire professionally when working with clients, exhibitors, venues and contractors.
• Travel interstate and overseas as required.
