Overview

Service & Installation Technician — Based in Cobram | Vehicle & Tools Provided

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for installing, servicing, maintaining, upgrading, and relocating specialised machinery across the region. This role offers a mix of scheduled maintenance, urgent breakdown repairs, and customer support during peak agricultural seasons.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and relocate machinery (frost fans) at customer sites
• Conduct annual maintenance, diagnostics, and breakdown repairs

Customer Support & Documentation

• Act as a key point of contact for customer queries
• Complete accurate job records including JSA’s and timesheets

Safety & Vehicle Care

• Ensure all tasks are performed to WHS standards
• Maintain a clean, organised work vehicle and equipment

What You’ll Bring

• Full, unrestricted driver’s licence (Medium Rigid licence preferred)
• Background as a small engine mechanic, service technician, or similar (diesel mechanic highly regarded)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work at heights and in varied weather conditions
• Great communication skills and a commitment to quality
• Forklift licence and EWP experience (preferred)
