Job summary

Strathcona Girls Grammar is seeking a Junior School Visual Arts Teacher to join our learning community on a 0.5FTE part-time, fixed-term basis starting in Term 1 2027. You will design and deliver engaging Visual Arts learning experiences, collaborating with the Art Department to ensure curriculum alignment and a cohesive program.

You will contribute to the School’s annual Visual Arts and Design Exhibition and engage in reflective practice to support student growth.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Visual Arts in a Junior School setting.
• Knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and progression.
• Ability to design and deliver differentiated, engaging learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, differentiated Visual Arts learning experiences.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and review high-quality teaching programs.
• Align curriculum with the Art Department for cohesion across year levels.
• Develop learning activities, assessments and feedback to support student growth.
• Contribute to the annual Visual Arts and Design Exhibition planning and delivery.
