Job summary

Marian Catholic College Kenthurst is seeking a passionate Secondary Teacher to join our dedicated team for a temporary full-time position commencing Term 4, 2026 until the end of the year. Applications are welcome from teachers qualified in Science, TAS and/or HSIE.

The successful applicant will work collaboratively within our teaching team, contribute to a vibrant learning and faith community, and support the holistic development of students in Years 7–12.

Qualifications

Qualified to teach one or more of Science, TAS and/or HSIE in secondary school per NSW/NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to motivate students and differentiate learning activities.
Willingness to be an active part of the Marian Community.

Responsibilities

Structure lessons to meet the development of students.
Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environment.
Adhere to the assessment schedule and maintain records of student achievement.
Provide extensive pedagogical knowledge and enhance the learning and teaching of the subject matter.
Work creatively and constructively within various school communities.
Set high, achievable goals for oneself and students.
