Job summary

The role focuses on building inclusive classrooms, tracking progress, giving constructive feedback, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to school life through events and activities, with QCT registration or eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education or a Science degree with a teaching qualification.
• Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration, or eligibility to obtain it
• Experience teaching secondary Chemistry and/or Physics, ideally within the Australian curriculum
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry and/or Physics lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum
• Foster an inclusive classroom culture that supports student engagement and collaboration
• Track student progress and provide constructive, meaningful feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen teaching practice
