Job summary

St Francis Xavier Catholic Primary Ashbury in Sydney is seeking a dedicated Classroom Teacher to inspire students within a Catholic learning environment. A minimum of 1 year of classroom teaching experience and a strong focus on wellbeing are required.

You will develop K-6 curriculum, apply effective pedagogy, and ensure inclusive, rigorous learning experiences aligned with NESA accreditation and Religious Education requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of classroom teaching experience.
• Expertise in developing a K-6 Curriculum and effective learning pedagogies.
• Strong classroom management and student wellbeing focus.
• Ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences.
• Tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
• Religious Education qualifications or willingness to achieve them per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.

Responsibilities

• Inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment.
• Develop and implement a rigorous K-6 curriculum with effective pedagogy.
