TheInspectorwill conduct a range compliance monitoring activities and inspections as authorised under theAustralian Consumer Law andFair TradingAct,and other legislation administered by CAV.
Also, theInspectorwillcarry out residential tenancy investigations including rental assessments and non-urgent repairsasdelegated under the Residential Tenancies Act.
Further theInspectorwill perform front line dispute resolution, provide business and community education and participate in CAV campaign initiatives.
The Inspector role in the Central Area is based at Bendigo and will outreach to other locations across regional Victoria and into north west metropolitan Melbourne as required.
This role is an ongoing position. This position is only open to applicants with relevant rights to work in Australia.
