Job summary

Hall Chadwick in Perth, WA is seeking an Insolvency Accountant to join the on-site insolvency team. You will gain hands-on experience across core accounting and advisory services, with exposure to insolvency and restructuring engagements, corporate transactions, financial analysis and due diligence.

You will work with Managers and Partners toward CA/CPA/CFA qualifications and benefit from a structured support environment, with opportunities for cross-border client exposure and career progression.

Qualifications

• Finance or accounting degree completed.
• Pursuing CA/CPA/CFA or equivalent qualification.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Effective communicator and team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of insolvency appointments (liquidations, administrations, receiverships, bankruptcies).
• Prepare statutory reports, correspondence, and filings with regulators.
• Conduct investigations into company affairs and financial records for potential recoveries.
• Liaise with directors, creditors, employees, financiers, lawyers and government agencies.
• Assist in asset realisation, creditor distributions, and claims adjudication.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support senior staff with stakeholder meetings, creditor communications, and court processes.
• Analyze financial information and prepare summaries and recommendations.
• Identify potential recovery actions and assist with litigation or enforcement matters.

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic people with degrees in Business, Finance, or Accounting to join our Insolvency teams. The roles offer hands‑on experience across core accounting and advisory services, with opportunities to gain exposure to:

• Insolvency & restructuring engagements, including business turnaround and recovery work
• Corporate Transactions, such as financial analysis, due diligence, and transaction support

You’ll work closely with Managers and Partners on real client work and be supported toward professional qualifications such as CA or CPA or CFA.
