Job summary

HCF is seeking an Insights & Visualization Engineer on a 12-month max term contract in Sydney. You will build and deliver insights using visualization and querying tools to enable self-service data literacy and better decision making.

The role requires at least 5+ years in BI or data analytics, strong Tableau, SQL and data warehouse knowledge, and experience with large datasets and Agile environments. You will collaborate with business users to answer questions and develop self-serve reporting

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years in BI, analytics or data science.
• Proficient in Tableau and SQL.
• Experience with large, diverse data sources.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Ability to turn data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Build insights across business areas using visualization and queries.
• Develop subject matter expertise and engage with users.
• Provide rapid answers to business questions with queries and visualisations.
• Integrate digital data with warehouse to drive decisions.
• Design and build self-serve reporting data models.
• Monitor data quality and promote data literacy within the business.
