Job summary

Avant Mutual Group in NSW is seeking a Team Leader for Medical Indemnity Sales & Portfolio to lead inside sales, retention and application activity. You will coach Sales Consultants, monitor performance and ensure a high-quality member experience.

This hands-on leadership role balances coaching with performance management and operational delivery to meet acquisition and retention targets while upholding risk and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience leading team performance in a sales or service setting.
• Experience in a sales, retention, portfolio or contact centre environment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team’s day-to-day sales, retention and application activity.
• Coach and develop Sales Consultants through regular feedback and on-the-job support.
• Oversee end-to-end processing of new business applications and offers.
• Monitor sales and application performance, addressing issues early.
• Embed quality, risk awareness and compliance into day-to-day team activity.
• Collaborate with Underwriting and Operations to resolve bottlenecks.
