Queensland Health Rockhampton is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead inpatient mental health care. You will assess, plan, deliver and review safe, evidence-based, person-centred care for consumers, including those with complex needs, while upholding rights and wellbeing.

Join a multidisciplinary team across inpatient and community settings, provide shift coordination and clinical leadership, mentor nursing staff, and contribute to education and professional development.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NMBA registration and commitment to quality, safety and patient care.
• Understanding of clinical standards, guidelines and risk frameworks; use evidence to improve care.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate clearly within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead great clinical care. Assess, plan, deliver and review safe, evidence-based, person-centred care for consumers, including those with complex needs, while upholding their rights and wellbeing.
• Be part of the team. Work closely with the interdisciplinary team, consumers, families and external services to keep care connected across inpatient and community settings.
• Lead, support and grow others. Provide shift coordination and clinical leadership, mentor and support nursing staff and students, and contribute to induction, education and professional development.
• Help shape better care. Champion innovation, embrace technology, identify and manage risks, support positive change and contribute to a workplace culture where people feel supported, valued and heard.
