Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking a registered nurse to deliver high-quality adult mental health care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team across Gladstone and surrounding communities. Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current AHPRA registration and eligibility to become an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Queensland Mental Health Act 2016.
• Skills to support people experiencing complex mental health challenges, including conducting risk assessments and triage, with knowledge of relevant legislation and national standards.
• Strong communication and therapeutic skills to build relationships with consumers and colleagues in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality mental health care through assessments, risk assessments, triage, care planning and therapeutic interventions.
• Support consumers to work towards their goals, build on strengths and progress towards recovery.
• Collaborate with consumers, carers, colleagues and community partners in multidisciplinary teams.
• Share knowledge and contribute to service improvement by collecting clinical data and monitoring outcomes.
