Queensland Health is recruiting a Registered Nurse for the new Adult Inpatient Mental Health Unit at Rockhampton Hospital. You will assess, plan, deliver and review safe, evidence-based care in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

You’ll join a brand-new 32-bed unit with opportunities for leadership, mentoring and ongoing professional development, in a community-friendly regional setting with flexible job arrangements and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with NMBA registration (AHPRA) and commitment to quality patient care.
• Knowledge of clinical standards, guidelines, and risk frameworks.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate clearly within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead safe, evidence-based, person-centred care for consumers, including those with complex needs.
• Collaborate with inpatient, community and external services to keep care connected.
• Provide shift coordination and clinical leadership, mentor staff and support development.
• Champion innovation and safety to improve care and workplace culture.
