Job summary

Lesmurdie Senior High School, part of the WA Department of Education, seeks a Mathematics teacher for Years 7–10 and ATAR Mathematics Applications. The position is a 12-month fixed term, full-time commencing Term 1, 2027 with possible extension or permanency.

You will deliver high-quality curriculum, engage diverse learners, contribute to the LEAP program, and work within a BYOD school culture. This role emphasizes collaboration with staff and the school community.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide students with high-quality curriculum delivery.
• Understanding of instructional and curriculum design and current developments in the Learning Area.
• Ability to teach a range of abilities across Years 7–10 and ATAR Mathematics Applications.
• Experience in BYOD environment is highly regarded.
• Reflective in assessing effectiveness of teaching practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality curriculum delivery and programs within the Learning Area for Years 7–10.
• Assess and adapt teaching practices to support diverse learners.
