NSW Health in Sydney’s Caringbah area is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse for the Community Mental Health service. The role is based at Community Mental Health, Sutherland Mental Health Service, on the Sutherland Hospital campus, Caringbah.

The position is Temporary Full Time through to October 2027, offering a 38-hour week and a salary in the advertised range. You will join an innovative team focused on recovery‑oriented, strengths‑based, and person‑centred care within a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrated experience in mental health assessment, treatment and management of persons with a mental illness with skills transferable to a community setting.
• Demonstrated commitment to a consumer focussed recovery-oriented approach and consumer collaboration in care planning.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated skills in time management.
