Job summary

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and implement an education and training program for the correctional facility.
• Monitor and coordinate the work of external personnel within the centre's education program.
• Consult and liaise with training providers and community interest groups for appropriate educational services.
• Assess inmates' education standards and advise on opportunities within the centre and in the community.
• Contribute to sentence management, case management and assessment for community-based options.
• Provide advice to the Manager Offender Development on education matters.
