Job summary

East Partnership is seeking an Associate to join its infrastructure investments team in Sydney or Melbourne, offering exposure to energy transition assets and broad infrastructure opportunities. You will build financial models, perform due diligence, and contribute to valuation work, investment committee materials, and portfolio management across deals from origination to completion.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in M&A investment banking, infrastructure or private equity, with a finance

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' experience within M&A Investment Banking, Infrastructure or Private Equity investing, Valuations, Project Finance or a related transactional environment.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities, coupled with transaction execution experience across acquisitions, financings or advisory mandates.
• Good understanding of energy transition assets and the Australian and New Zealand energy markets.
• Knowledge of infrastructure contractual frameworks, project financing structures and government support mechanisms will be highly regarded.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline, with further qualifications such as the CFA viewed favourably.

Responsibilities

• Execute acquisitions and divestments across energy transition and broader infrastructure assets.
• Combine transaction execution with active portfolio management and fund-level responsibilities.
• Gain early responsibility across financial modelling, due diligence, valuations and investment committee materials.
