Horizontal Talent Australia Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our Technical Operations team. You will manage Linux and cloud infrastructure, monitor production systems, perform incident response, root cause analysis, and automate tasks with scripting.

The Mission

Every match, login, transaction and player interaction relies on a highly available infrastructure platform operating 24/7.

As an Infrastructure Systems Engineer, you'll join a collaborative Technical Operations team responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining critical production systems that support millions of players globally.

When issues arise, you'll be part of the team that keeps the game running.

What You'll Be Working On

• Linux and cloud infrastructure
• Production systems and networking

You’ll have opportunities to work with technologies including Python, Java, Go and other modern automation tools.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• Fluent English and Mandarin communication skills
• 1-2+ years in Infrastructure, Systems Engineering, Technical Operations, Cloud Operations or SRE
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Customer and user-focused mindset

Highly Regarded

• Experience supporting 24/7 online services
• Experience with gaming, mobile gaming or live-service platforms
• Cloud infrastructure experience
• Experience using AI tools or AI agents to improve operational efficiency
