Job summary

Talent Corp is seeking an Infrastructure Specialist focused on Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online and Entra ID. The role blends administration with continuous improvement across both cloud and on-prem environments. You will own the Microsoft 365 environment and contribute to governance, security and data protection initiatives.

The 12-month contract is Brisbane-based with a daily rate of $900. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, methodical and comfortable driving infrastructure improvements

Qualifications

• Hands-on Microsoft 365 administration

Responsibilities

• Administer and support the Microsoft 365 environment including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online and Purview
• Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, permissions, document libraries and governance structures
• Support SharePoint governance and information management standards
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including users/groups, RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access and SSO
• Support Microsoft 365 security, compliance and data protection initiatives
• Manage tenant configuration, licensing and general 365 administration
• Optimize Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive collaboration
• Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, SharePoint and identity/access issues

Infrastructure Specialist - Microsoft 365 & Cloud

This role has a strong focus on SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, alongside broader infrastructure and networking support within a hybrid cloud environment. The position will suit someone who is hands-on, comfortable owning the Microsoft 365 environment, and able to work across both administration and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll be doing

You’ll take an active role in supporting and maintaining our network and infrastructure environment, including:

• Administer and support the Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online and Microsoft Purview.
• Develop and maintain SharePoint Online sites, permissions, document libraries and document management structures.
• Support SharePoint governance, information management and collaboration standards.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including users/groups, RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access and SSO.
• Support Microsoft 365 security, compliance, retention and data protection initiatives.
• Manage tenant configuration, licensing and general Microsoft 365 administration.
• Optimise Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive collaboration across the business.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, SharePoint, identity and access-related issues.
• Provide general infrastructure and networking support across LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and wireless environments.

What we're looking for

We’re particularly interested in candidates with:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
• Strong SharePoint Online administration experience, including sites, permissions, document libraries and governance.
• Experience administering Microsoft Entra ID and identity/access controls.
• Knowledge of Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online and Microsoft Purview.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 security, compliance and information governance.
• Experience working across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
• General networking knowledge, ideally across Ubiquiti and/or Cisco environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.
