Job summary

Data#3 Ltd in Australia is seeking an Infrastructure Solutions Consultant to lead datacentre and virtualization projects for enterprise clients. You will analyse requirements, design solutions, implement infrastructure platforms, and optimise environments across multiple sites.

In this role you will architect virtualisation and AI infrastructure, lead governance and deployments, provide presales input, and mentor delivery teams while developing new service offerings.

Qualifications

• Proven consulting background in an IT systems integrator or solutions provider.
• Deep VMware vSphere, ESXi clustering, and MetroCluster/stretched environments.
• Solid delivery with enterprise compute and HCI (Cisco UCS, Dell VxRail, Nutanix).
• Hands-on SAN/storage experience with Everpure Storage, PowerStore, NetApp; Veeam backup.
• Strong client engagement, requirements discovery, and technical documentation.
• Current certifications (Azure local, VCP, Cisco, Dell, Nutanix).

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement resilient virtualisation, datacentre, AI infrastructure and HCI platforms across multi-site environments.
• Lead governance, change management, and project deployments from planning through delivery.
• Provide presales leadership, contributing to bids, solution estimation, and client workshops.
• Design and execute complex VM migrations, storage provisioning, and disaster recovery architectures.
• Act as the senior technical escalation point and trusted client advisor.
• Mentor delivery team members and assist in developing emerging service offerings.
