Job summary

Accenture Australia is expanding its Ballarat technology and operations centre to provide onshore infrastructure services for Australian clients. We seek talented professionals to design, build, and sustain SOE infrastructure across Windows, RHEL, and OEL platforms, while driving automation and standardized processes.

The role requires strong cloud and server administration skills, ITIL practices, and leadership to guide a team of Infrastructure Analysts.

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, VMware), Windows Server administration, RHEL and OEL.
• SOE development, delivery and sustainment processes.
• Scripting and automation, and ITIL best practices.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to capture SOE requirements.
• Develop a high-level design for new server builds, sustainment strategy, roadmap, patching and major version upgrades.
• Develop Windows, RHEL and OEL images as per the captured requirements.
• Deploy test VMs, and facilitate cross-functional testing.
• Transition the SOE images to the BAU / operations team.
• Lead and manage a team of Infrastructure Analysts and Coordinators, ensuring smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure-related incidents, problem management, and change implementation.
