Job summary

Lackon Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Project Managers to oversee infrastructure projects across Queensland, including Cairns, Winton and the Gold Coast. You’ll lead from planning through to construction, coordinating teams and engaging stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years’ experience, strong knowledge of Australian Standard contracts, and a collaborative, client-focused approach to project management for government or public infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• A degree in Project Management, Construction, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years’ experience delivering infrastructure projects.
• Strong client-side project management experience, preferably with government or public infrastructure.
• Experience across water, civil, transport, community infrastructure or DRFA/disaster recovery programs.
• Knowledge of Australian Standard contracts and government procurement processes.
• Excellent written, communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead projects from start to finish.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset aligned with Hungry, Humble, Smart values.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure projects from planning through to construction and completion.
• Manage project teams, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Provide client-side project management and contract administration services.
• Coordinate procurement, tendering and contractor engagement.
