What you’ll do:

As Infrastructure Portfolio Director, you will play a central role in guiding the strategic direction of vital infrastructure assets that underpin essential public services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve leading cross-functional teams in delivering both construction-related projects and corporate support services. • Develop robust frameworks for construction scheduling, asset management, budget oversight, and project delivery to ensure timely completion of initiatives exceeding $100M annually.
• Foster a culture of collaboration by building cohesive networks both within the command structure and with external partners to enhance service delivery outcomes.
• Champion the implementation of integrated information management systems—including document directories and SharePoint—to streamline data flow and improve responsiveness to internal and ministerial queries.
• Provide expert advice to senior executives on emerging risks or issues related to infrastructure operations while maintaining rigorous standards in governance reporting and audit compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement by seeking input from experienced team members on new initiatives that can further enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Instil project management principles throughout all functional areas to underpin successful delivery of complex programs under tight deadlines.
