Collins Executive Recruitment is seeking an Associate for a leading global advisory firm with a strong Australian presence. The role offers early responsibility and direct exposure to senior bankers, with the goal of developing into a trusted adviser on high-impact transactions.

You will support the execution of M&A and strategic advisory mandates, build financial models and valuations, and prepare client materials and board-level presentations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics or related field.
• 2–5 years’ experience in investment banking or top-tier advisory.
• Strong modelling, valuation and analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• Support the execution of M&A, strategic advisory, and capital mandates, including complex cross-border deals.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuations and analytic workstreams for live mandates.
• Prepare high-quality client materials and board-level presentations.
• Coordinate execution tasks with clients, counterparties and advisers under supervision.
• Conduct sector and market analysis to support live transactions and origination initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior bankers on negotiations and relationship development.
• Review analyst work to maintain high technical and presentation standards.
