Job summary

Reliance Worldwide Corporation – Eagle Farm QLD is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer on a 6-month fixed term contract. You will support and improve APAC infrastructure, coordinating with IT leadership to deliver projects, enhancements and security controls across servers, networks and cloud.

Role focuses on operations, project delivery, modernization, backup recovery and adherence to security standards, with strong emphasis on documentation and incident resolution.

Qualifications

• Strong enterprise infrastructure administration across server, network and cloud platforms.
• Experience with AD/Entra ID, Azure, Intune and Microsoft 365 security controls.
• Proven delivery of infrastructure projects and production changes.
• Knowledge of patching, vulnerability remediation and security controls.

Responsibilities

About the role:

The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for supporting the operation, maintenance and improvement of RWC's infrastructure environment across the APAC region.

This role will work closely with the ANZ IT Manager and Infrastructure Manager, APAC to provide additional technical capacity across infrastructure operations, project delivery and operational improvement initiatives.

The primary focus of the role is infrastructure engineering and project delivery. The position will contribute to the administration, support and enhancement of network, server, cloud and security technologies while assisting in reducing infrastructure risk, addressing technical debt and delivering priority improvement initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Infrastructure Operations (Primary Focus)

• Support and maintain APAC enterprise infrastructure platforms.
• Monitor server, network, storage and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents and problems.
• Implement approved infrastructure changes.
• Maintain technical documentation and standards.
• Support upgrades and infrastructure lifecycle activities.

Project Delivery and Improvement

• Deliver infrastructure projects and improvement initiatives.
• Support infrastructure modernisation and standardisation.
• Support cloud adoption and optimisation. Improve backup, disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities. Identify and remediate infrastructure technical debt.
• Implement new infrastructure technologies and solutions.

Security and Compliance

• Remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities and security findings.
• Implement infrastructure security controls.
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to address risks. Support patching, hardening and compliance.
• Assist with infrastructure audits and reviews.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Strong enterprise infrastructure administration, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across server, network and cloud platforms.
• Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure, Intune, Microsoft 365, Conditional Access and identity solutions.
• Experience with Lenovo server and storage platforms, VMware virtualisation, and enterprise networking, including Cisco Meraki, wireless and WAN technologies.
• Experience with enterprise backup and recovery solutions, including Veeam. Knowledge of infrastructure security, patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Proven delivery of infrastructure projects and production changes. Strong documentation, change management and operational support skills.
