Job summary

Paxus is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for an immediate 12-month contract in Sydney. You will contribute to a Windows Server environment, handling AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy, with VMware vCenter administration and MECM patching responsibilities.

The role combines BAU support with project work within a lively infrastructure team. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016–2022, VMware ESXi upgrades, and SCCM, and are comfortable working in a contract setting that

Qualifications

• Experience with Domain Controllers, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Windows Server 2016–2022 administration.
• VMware vCenter 7+ managing and upgrading ESXi hosts.
• SCCM / Endpoint Configuration Manager for patching and updates.
• BAU support and project work experience.

Job description

This leading Media services provider has an immediate requirement for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their Windows Server team for a 12 month contract with a strong likelihood for the contract to extend. As an Engineer you will need to be able to demonstrate a recent capability with the skill sets listed below.

• Active Directory knowledge including (but not limited to) Domain Controller administration, DNS, DHCP & Group Policy
• Windows Server OS & Administration skills in Windows Server 2016 through to Windows Server 2022.
• VMware vCenter experience (v7 and higher), including administration of VMware virtualisation platform as well as upgrading ESXi hosts.
• Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager for Windows Server patching

The typical work that this role will cover will be BAU support but also project work which is the reason why this role exists.
