Synergy, Western Australia's prominent energy provider, seeks an Infrastructure Architect to design, plan and enhance secure, scalable OT/IT infrastructure across OT and IT environments in our Perth Central Park office.

You will drive convergence, prioritise network performance and cybersecurity, and align projects with organisational goals in a collaborative, governance-driven setting.

Qualificações

• Experience designing and maintaining OT and IT infrastructure with strong network security.
• Familiarity with IEC 62443 and NIST cybersecurity standards.
• Ability to drive convergence strategies between OT and IT systems without compromising security.

Role Description:

The Infrastructure Architect is a newly created opportunity in our Technology and Business Services Unit based at our Central Park, Perth office.

The successful candidate will be required to design, plan, and improve secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure solutions across both Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) environments. This role ensures seamless integration between OT and IT systems while prioritising network performance and cybersecurity.

Job responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain architecture designs for OT and IT infrastructure with strong emphasis on network security.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST) and organisational security policies.
• Drive convergence strategies between OT and IT systems without compromising security or operational integrity.
• Provide technical leadership for network design, segmentation, and secure connectivity across enterprise and industrial environments
• Collaborate with business units to align TBS projects with organisational goals.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

What you will bring:

• Deep knowledge of network architecture (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, MPLS) and security protocols.
• Experience with OT systems (SCADA, DCS) and IT infrastructure (servers, cloud, virtualisation).
• Security Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent preferred.
• Exposure in infrastructure architecture roles with knowledge of OT environments and cybersecurity
