Job summary

Interactive Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Storage Administrator to manage and optimise enterprise storage across a hybrid environment. The role focuses on Pure Storage, Dell Unity, Dell PowerScale (Isilon) and NetApp platforms, with responsibility for availability, performance, security, and disaster recovery.

You will work with server,Backup, cloud and network teams, manage on-call incidents, and ensure backup and recovery requirements align with compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise storage administration for large-scale SAN/NAS
• Solid knowledge of Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS/SMB, and object storage (S3)
• Experience with VMware vSphere environments and disaster recovery
• Familiarity with storage replication, backups, and ITIL-based processes

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain and support enterprise storage platforms across hybrid infra
• Provide block and file storage provisioning and lifecycle management
• Perform capacity planning, migrations, and decommissioning activities
• Monitor performance, health, and utilisation of storage systems
• Collaborate with server, backup, cloud and network teams on infrastructure projects
• Participate in 24/7 on-call schedule and incident response
• Ensure backup/recovery requirements meet business and compliance standards

We are seeking an experienced Storage Administrator to manage, support, maintain, and optimise enterprise storage platforms across a complex hybrid infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep hands‑on expertise in Pure Storage FlashArray, Dell Unity, and Dell PowerScale (Isilon) storage platforms, with working knowledge of NetApp storage solutions.

The role is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security, and resilience of storage infrastructure while supporting business‑critical applications, virtualisation platforms, backup environments, and disaster recovery solutions.

Some of the key things you’ll do:

• Administer, maintain and support enterprise storage platforms.
• Provision and manage block and file‑based storage services.
• Perform storage allocation, expansion, migration and decommissioning activities.
• Monitor storage capacity, utilisation, performance and overall system health.
• Investigate and resolve storage‑related incidents, service requests and performance issues.
• Collaborate with server, backup, cloud and network teams on infrastructure projects and operational support.
• Ensure backup and recovery requirements are met in accordance with business and compliance standards.
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call schedule and support major incident response when required.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience in enterprise storage administration.
• Experience supporting large‑scale SAN and NAS environments.
• Understanding of Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, SMB/CIFS, S3, Multipathing technologies.
• Experience supporting VMware vSphere environments.
• Experience with storage replication and disaster recovery technologies.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and operational best practices.
• Relevant industry certifications highly regarded.
• Able to obtain a NV1 security clearance.
