Westpac Group is seeking an Information Security Consultant to strengthen cyber threat detection and response by designing, building and maintaining detection content across SIEM, EDR/XDR, and related platforms in Sydney, with flexibility across Australia.

You will develop and tune detection rules using SPL/KQL, apply MITRE ATT&CK, and collaborate with Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, Incident Response and Red Teams, plus design automation and playbooks to improve resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or large enterprises with cyber security operations.
