Job summary

About the opportunity

This is an exciting time to join our team where you will be supported to develop your skills and stay on trend with emerging techniques and technology. Reporting to the Information Solutions Lead, use your experience in governing Microsoft 365 environments and developing technology solutions to solve information management problems and streamline business processes.

Explore the challenges faced by colleagues across corporate, research and teaching areas and develop solutions using a range of technology tools such as Microsoft 365/Power Platform, Acrobat Sign and AvePoint’s governance suite to solve them.Use your analysis skills to understand requirements and design appropriate solutions that can range from basic SharePoint Online site configuration through to complex workflows, digital forms, and dashboards.

Contribute to the management of our M365 governance tool through user support and the development of new automated services and processes and provide advice to a variety of stakeholders and colleagues, with the objective of educating how utilising technology and digital IM techniques can improve their processes.

About you

• Experience with IM lifecycle management of Microsoft workspaces (Teams, SharePoint sites, M365 Groups, OneDrive etc).Preferably using AvePoint Cloud Governance, Policies and Insights, and Microsoft Purview.
• Experience in developing solutions using the M365 suite including SharePoint Online and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Ability to work independently, prioritise and manage multiple competing tasks while delivering solutions through all stages through to completion
• Demonstrated skills and experience in digital information management and governance
• Creativity, problem solving and business analysis skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with various types of stakeholders
• A background in IT, preferred but not essential.

Your qualifications should include demonstrated work experience, education and training in the fields of systems design and development, business process improvement, information management or information governance equivalent to:

• An undergraduate degree with at least 2 years' subsequent relevant experience; or
• 5 years of relevant work experience and expertise in the fields mentioned above
• an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

This is a full time, fixed term opportunity for 12 months based at our Brisbane South (Nathan) campus.As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other campuses.

Salary

HEW 7 - base range - $104,504.60 - $113,219.43 + 17% superanuation. Full package range - $122,270.38 - $132,466.72.
