Responsibilities

• Drive remediation of significant security risks, control weaknesses and incident findings with clear ownership and timely resolution.

• Identify recurring security issues, systemic gaps, and risk patterns; develop prevention and uplift initiatives.
• Facilitate collaboration between business, engineering and security teams to accelerate remediation and risk reduction.
• Provide visibility of outstanding issues, remediation progress and risk decisions to executives and security leadership.
• Champion continuous security improvement by converting reviews, incidents and audit outcomes into actionable plans.
• Prioritise security debt and legacy risks to improve long-term security posture.
• Gather stakeholder feedback on technology, processes and interactions to improve security posture.

Product, Network & Technology - Security & Operations is responsible for Telstra's security and operations, protecting Telstra's assets and infrastructure. **About you:**You have experience translating security risks, incidents or control failures into practical remediation plans and driving sustainable improvements across large organisations. You are comfortable operating at executive levels, influencing decisions, and creating accountability for security outcomes that strengthen organisational resilience.
