Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services APAC is seeking an experienced Informatica IICS Integration Developer for CDI and CAI. You will architect, build, and support high-performance data pipelines and real-time API integrations across cloud databases, data warehouses, and third-party SaaS apps.

In an Agile environment, you will design and optimize CDI ETL/ELT mappings, deploy CAI process flows, implement fault-handling, and ensure data quality and system uptime for APAC clients from our Sydney-based team.

Qualifications

• Informatica IICS and CAI/CDI expertise with real hands-on delivery.
• Strong SQL optimization skills and data transformation experience.
• Proficient in designing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with typical tooling.

About Role-

We are seeking an experienced Informatica IICS Integration Developer specializing in Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Application Integration (CAI). In this role, you will architect, build, and support high-performance data pipelines and real-time API integrations. You will be responsible for bridging cloud databases, data warehouses, and third-party SaaS applications while driving technical delivery in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities-

Design, test, and deploy high-volume CDI ETL/ELT mappings, mapping tasks, and taskflows to transform and ingest complex structured and semi-structured data into target cloud databases and data warehouses.

Optimize batch processing workflows to maintain efficiency, scalability, and performance across large datasets.

• Real-Time API & Workflow Engineering (CAI)-

Develop synchronous and asynchronous CAI process flows, custom APIs, and Service Connectors to integrate third-party REST/SOAP web services.

Enable seamless Application-to-Application (A2A) and business process integration across cloud and on-premises environments.

• Advanced Querying & Payload Transformation

Write optimized SQL queries and construct complex data transformations using CDI components.

• Fault Handling & System Reliability

Architect embedded fault-handling sub-processes, decision trees, and automated retry mechanisms within CAI process flows to ensure data integrity and maximize system uptime.

Key Technical Skills-

• Informatica IICS / IDMC Expertise: Strong hands-on experience building solutions using Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Application Integration (CAI).
• Database & Warehousing: Deep understanding of relational databases and modern cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse), including expert-level SQL optimization skills.
• API & Data Standards: Proficient in designing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs, configuring Service Connectors, and handling JSON, XML, XQuery, and XPath.
• Integration Patterns: Solid understanding of both batch ETL/ELT patterns and real-time/event-driven integration architectures.
• Agile & Tools: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git, or CI/CD tools.
• Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex asynchronous workflows and design resilient error-recovery strategies.
