Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a dedicated Staff Nurse to join the Infectious Diseases Unit (Ward 8D) at the New Royal site. This full-time Band 5 position involves assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team, with shifts including long days, early, late and night duties.

Qualifications

• Must be a Band 5 RN.
• Experience in infectious diseases or ward-based care is preferred.
• Excellent communication and compassionate patient care are essential.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and carers while upholding agreed nursing standards.
• Determine nursing priorities and plan patient care, reporting changes to the nurse in charge.
• Maintain nursing records in line with NMC and Trust guidelines.
• Contribute to Essence of Care and clinical benchmarking within the unit to improve quality of care.
• Respect patients' customs, values, and spiritual beliefs.
• Assist in the safe custody, checking and administration of drugs.
