Barwon Health in Victoria is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead the Infection Prevention Service, providing organisation-wide clinical leadership and expert advice on infection prevention and control. You will drive evidence-based practice, ensure governance, and coordinate responses to infections across the health service.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with postgraduate qualifications or equivalent demonstrated experience in infection prevention and control.
• Substantial senior clinical experience in infection prevention and control within a complex health service, with strong knowledge of legislation and NSQHS Standard 3.
• Demonstrated leadership and management experience including workforce planning, clinical governance, quality improvement, policy development and organisational change.

Responsabilités

• Provide organisation-wide leadership and expert advice on infection prevention and control, ensuring compliance with legislation, standards and accreditation.
• Lead governance, risk management, audits and quality improvement initiatives to strengthen patient safety and infection prevention practices.
• Manage the Infection Prevention Service’s daily operations, workforce planning, staff performance, development and resource allocation.
• Build effective stakeholder partnerships and coordinate responses to infection prevention incidents and priorities.
