St George Christian School in Sans Souci is seeking a Classroom Teacher for the Infants School (K-2) on a permanent full-time basis. You will join a collaborative team reporting to the Head of Infants School and teach across Kindergarten to Year 2 with a focus on evidence-based literacy and numeracy practices.

SGCS Infants School is seeking a Classroom Teacher for a permanent full-time position at the Sans Souci Campus. Successful applicants must possess recognised teaching qualifications to teach the NSW Syllabus and appropriate experience to teach classes from Kindergarten to Year 2.

Reporting to the Head of Infants School, the Classroom Teacher will be jointly responsible with their grade partners to teach a K-2 class, overseeing the education of students in their care across the range of Key Learning Areas. Demonstrated practice in using evidence-based practices, particularly for literacy and numeracy acquisition, along with proficiency in IT skills would be an advantage. Full support through the provision of structured programs, teaching resources, and collaboration with experienced grade partners will ensure a successful start to the role.

The successful applicant will be joining a team of productive, caring, creative and highly regarded staff, and should possess outstanding personal skills and be a positive team member. They are expected to be involved in the total school program, with other duties and responsibilities appropriate to working in an Infants School.

Salary and conditions are consistent with the NSW Christian Schools Teaching Staff Multi – Enterprise Agreement 2024. This role will commence in 2027.
