Job summary

Infosys, Sydney, seeks a Senior Consulting Partner for Appian & Process Automation in Financial Services to lead and grow the strategic Appian portfolio for a designated client. You will guide client executives, drive transformation opportunities, and ensure successful delivery of Appian-led solutions that create measurable business value.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall technology experience.
• 5+ years in Appian Architecture or CTO Advisory roles.
• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related.
• Able to communicate in English.
• Strong Financial Services domain expertise across Banking, Wealth, Payments, Lending, Risk, Operations, or Customer Service.
• Deep understanding of Appian, BPM, Workflow Automation, Case Management, and Intelligent Automation platforms.
• Proven track record of growing strategic client accounts and leading multi-million-dollar transformation programs.
• Experience collaborating with technology partners and managing complex enterprise transformations.

Responsibilities

Position Description:

We are looking for a Senior Consulting Partner - Appian & Process Automation (Financial Services) who can lead and grow the strategic Appian and Process Automation portfolio for a designated Financial Services client. Serve as the trusted advisor to client executives, drive business growth, identify transformation opportunities, and ensure successful delivery of Appian-led solutions that create measurable business value. In addition, proactively originate and convert new process automation, workflow, AI, and digital transformation opportunities across the region.

Essential Responsibilities:

Client Relationship & Strategic Advisory

• Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Act as the executive advisor for Appian, workflow automation, AI-driven process transformation, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Lead client discussions on business priorities, transformation roadmaps, operating model improvements, and investment strategies.
• Position Infosys as a strategic partner for enterprise automation and process modernization.

Account Growth & Revenue Ownership

• Own revenue growth, profitability, and expansion of the Appian services portfolio within the designated client account.
• Develop and execute account growth plans aligned to client priorities and Infosys strategic objectives.
• Identify white-space opportunities and convert them into consulting, implementation, support, and managed services engagements.
• Establish multi-year transformation programs that drive recurring revenue and strengthen client partnerships.

Opportunity Identification & Sales Leadership

• Create and maintain a qualified pipeline of Appian, BPM, Workflow Automation, Case Management, Intelligent Automation, and AI-led transformation opportunities.
• Lead opportunity shaping, executive workshops, value discovery sessions, and business case development.
• Drive proposal strategy, solution positioning, commercial negotiations, and deal closure activities.
• Collaborate with regional sales, consulting, alliance, and industry teams to expand market presence.

Consulting & Transformation Leadership

• Lead discovery assessments, process diagnostics, maturity assessments, and value-stream analyses to identify transformation opportunities.
• Translate client challenges into business-led solution strategies and transformation roadmaps.
• Guide solution evaluation and recommend optimal approaches leveraging Appian, AI, automation, and ecosystem platforms.
• Bring industry benchmarks, best practices, and thought leadership to client engagements.

Delivery Governance & Executive Oversight

• Provide executive oversight for Appian programs, ensuring delivery excellence, governance, risk management, and customer satisfaction.
• Review solution architecture, operating models, and implementation plans to ensure alignment with business outcomes.
• Lead steering committees, executive reviews, and governance forums with client leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement and value realization across active engagements.

Alliances, Innovation & Thought Leadership

• Strengthen strategic relationships with Appian and relevant ecosystem partners.
• Champion adoption of emerging technologies including Agentic AI, Intelligent Document Processing, Workflow Automation, Process Mining, and Hyperautomation.
• Develop Points of View (POVs), industry assets, accelerators, and go-to-market offerings.
• Represent Infosys at executive forums, client events, and industry conferences.

Talent & Capability Development

• Mentor consulting leaders, architects, and account teams.
• Build consulting, advisory, and solutioning capabilities aligned to market demand.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and client‑centric problem solving.

Success Measures

• Appian portfolio growth and revenue expansion.
• Pipeline creation and deal conversion rate.
• Client executive relationship strength and stakeholder satisfaction.
• New transformation programs originated and won.

Preferred Experience & Qualification:

• 15+ years of overall technology experience
• 5+ years in Appian Architecture or CTO Advisory roles
• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a special combination of education and experience with demonstrated accomplishments.
• Able to communicate in English.
• Strong Financial Services domain expertise across Banking, Wealth, Payments, Lending, Risk, Operations, or Customer Service.
• Deep understanding of Appian, BPM, Workflow Automation, Case Management, and Intelligent Automation platforms.
• Proven track record of growing strategic client accounts and leading multi‑million‑dollar transformation programs.
• Demonstrated success in executive stakeholder management, consulting‑led sales, and large‑deal pursuits.
• Experience collaborating with technology partners and managing complex enterprise transformations.
