Job summary

Engineering Trades Australia is seeking an experienced Industrial Service Technician to join a small, established team for an immediate start across Greater Sydney. The role covers servicing and maintaining mobile industrial equipment across multiple sites, performing testing and tagging, and assisting with electrical installations and panel building.

A current EWP ticket is required, PLC experience is a plus, and occasional travel is expected.

Engineering Trades Australia are seeking an experienced Industrial Service Technician to join a small, established team available for an immediate start.

This is a varied, hands-on role servicing and maintaining industrial equipment across multiple sites throughout Greater Sydney and surrounding areas.

Role

You will be responsible for:

• Servicing and maintaining mobile industrial equipment.
• Carrying out testing and tagging.
• Performing minor electrical installations and maintenance.
• Building and working with electrical control panels.
• Working with load cells, weighing systems and indicators.
• Troubleshooting and fault-finding industrial equipment.
• Travelling between various industrial client sites.

Experience

Experience working in industrial environments is essential, particularly with concrete plants and drilling companies.

Work Locations

You will service sites across Greater Sydney, including:

• East: Banksmeadow and Botany.
• West: Penrith.
• North: Mulgrave and Windsor.
• South-West: Smeaton Grange.

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone with:

• Previous experience as an industrial service technician.
• A good understanding of electrical testing and tagging.
• Experience with electrical control panels and panel building.
• An understanding of load cells, weighing systems and indicators.
• Experience with mobile equipment servicing and maintenance.
• A current EWP ticket.
• PLC experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
