Job summary

Bush's Proteins in Bromelton, Queensland is seeking Process Operators to join the process team in a full-time role. You will safely operate rendering plant equipment, monitor key indicators and maintain stable production flow in a hot, noisy industrial environment.

The role requires rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays. We value reliability, attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions while working with maintenance teams and supporting plant performance

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy industrial processing or food manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to understand equipment operation and plant conditions.
• Comfort reading gauges, temperatures, pressures and process trends.
• Basic computer/recordkeeping skills.
• Good communication and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate rendering equipment and related systems.
• Monitor temperatures, pressures, flows and product quality indicators.
• Adjust plant controls to optimise throughput and specifications.
• Conduct regular plant inspections and identify abnormal conditions.
• Receive, load and transfer raw materials and maintain records.
• Assist maintenance during repairs, shutdowns and start-ups.
