Job summary

Alspec is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will maintain and repair production equipment to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency, working across a range of industrial machinery and contributing to continuous improvement at the site.

The role involves rotating shifts, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, and maintaining electrical systems, documents, and safety practices to keep equipment running at peak

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Electrician.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical theory and industrial applications.
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency electrical failures in production equipment.
• Conduct routine tests on electrical systems.
• Replace worn components before they fail.
• Update electrical documentation and schematics.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel on equipment issues.
