Job summary

Labourpower is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our Padstow manufacturing team. You will work with large industrial production machinery, performing setup, adjustments and quality checks to ensure consistent output.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 5:00am–1:00pm, with overtime and a strong emphasis on safety, attendance, and reliability. Applicants with textile/fabric processing equipment experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large industrial manufacturing machinery is essential.
• Experience with automated textile/fabric processing equipment is highly regarded.
• Ability to read and follow production specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate large industrial production machinery to manufacture high-quality products.
• Set up and adjust machinery to production specifications.
• Read and interpret production sheets and work instructions.
• Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Manual handling of materials throughout the production process.
