Job summary

7 Chefs Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking Industrial Kitchen and Process Workers and Machine Operators for an immediate start in a fast-paced manufacturing environment based in Epping. You will work on setting up cookers and machines, following recipes and measuring, weighing, and cooking raw materials.

Applicants must be available Monday to Friday, be a hardworking team player, and demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace occupational health & safety and to the right to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing and QA documentation.
• Industrial kitchen experience preferred.
• Must be available Mon-Fri and have flexible hours.
• Team player with strong health & safety commitment.
• Must have the right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Set up cookers and machines and follow recipes.
• Measure, weigh, mix and cook raw materials.
• Load materials into processing equipment and carry out production schedule.
• Mark, label and inspect packaging for quality and accuracy.
• Record product, packaging and order information as required.
• Remove completed or defective products or materials and clean work areas.

7 Chefs Pty Ltd is a market leader in it's field with National exposure, we specialize in the manufacture of food products to the retail and food service market.We are currently searching for Industrial Kitchen and Process Workers and Machine Operators for an immediate start in this fast paced manufacturing business based in Epping.

Applicants must be available Monday to Friday for morning or afternoon shifts

Your duties will include but will not be limited to:

• Setting up cookers and machines
• Following recipes
• Measuring, weighing, mixing and cooking raw materials
• Load materials and products into processing equipment
• Carrying out the production schedule
• Marking, labelling various forms of packaging
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Remove completed or defective products or materials.
• Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools
• Ensure products are manufactured in a timely manner and within quality guidelines

To be considered for this role you must:

• have previous food manufacturing, quality assurance and documentationexperience
• previous industrial kitchen experience preferable
• be available Monday to Friday and flexible hours
• be a hardworking team player
• have a strong commitment to workplace occupational health & safety
