Job summary

Coles Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician – Industrial Electrician for our Chef Fresh function. You will provide maintenance support, setup and technical expertise for specific equipment, and work to improve reliability and performance in the production area.

Reporting to the Engineering Shift Supervisor, you will troubleshoot faults, resolve technical problems and contribute to a safe, efficient manufacturing environment. Nightshift roster applies with occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Electrical licence required for all electrician positions.
• A recognised Trade Certificate, or Certificate III in Engineering-Mechanical Trade, or
• Certificate III in Engineering-Electrical/Electronic Trade, or Certificate III in Engineering-Fabrication Trade is required.
• A minimum of 5 years in field experience troubleshooting and maintaining automated processing or packaging equipment.
• Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Minimum Electrical Trade Certificate / Qualifications and current Electrical License.
• Committed to optimise the production process and identify opportunities for improvement.
