SamePage Personnel is seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Electrician to support manufacturing clients across Melbourne. You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance and manage PLC-based control systems on diverse industrial equipment.
The role offers a high earning potential with a company vehicle and field-based work across northern, eastern and western suburbs. A-Grade electrical licence and PLC skills are essential.
HUGE EARNING POTENTIAL !!!!! Circa $175,000.00 to $200,00.00 and above !!!!
Start and finish at home (minimal office visits). Work across Melbourne. Get paid to enjoy solving problems.
Are you an Industrial Electrician who enjoys fault-finding, working with PLCs and getting stuck into real industrial challenges?
Want a role where you're trusted to get on with the job, work across a variety of customer sites and be part of a team that values good people as much as good workmanship?
This could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
We're recruiting several Industrial Automation Electricians for an established industrial electrical and automation business supporting manufacturing clients across Melbourne's northern, eastern and western suburbs.
The work is varied, the technical challenges are genuine, and you'll have the backing of an experienced team that understands industrial environments and takes pride in doing things properly.
And the culture? Professional, down-to-earth and refreshingly straightforward. The team has a simple philosophy: good people, no egos and absolutely no room for “Richard Heads”!!!!
No sitting around waiting for the same machine to break down every week. You'll be out working with customers to keep production equipment operating safely, reliably and efficiently.
PLC capability is essential. You need practical experience working with PLC-based equipment, including installation, testing, resets and troubleshooting. (basic programming adjustments knowledge is highly desirable)
We're looking for a capable industrial electrician who can think on their feet, work independently and represent the business professionally at customer sites.
(Experience with PLC programming, hazardous‑area installations or relevant hazardous‑area certification will be highly regarded.)
The standard working week is Monday to Friday, with additional overtime available depending on customer requirements and workload.
There may also be opportunities for Saturday overtime and shutdown work.
For call-outs, the rate is double time, with a minimum of four hours paid per call-out.
You’ll need to be comfortable with the occasional out-of-hours requirement that comes with supporting industrial customers. In return, the additional work offers the opportunity to boost your earnings.
This is a business where people are expected to take ownership, use their initiative and look after the customer.
It's also a hands‑on operation. When things get busy, the owner is prepared to get on the tools alongside the team. There's no sense of being just another number or being left to work through problems without support.
You’ll be working with people who understand the realities of manufacturing, value practical problem-solving and want colleagues they can rely on.
If you're someone who takes pride in your work, treats people well and prefers a straightforward, ego-free environment, you'll appreciate the culture.
If you're an A-Grade Electrician with solid industrial experience and practical PLC skills, we'd like to hear from you.
Whether you're already working in industrial automation or you're an experienced industrial electrician looking to build on your PLC and controls experience, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
