Industrial Electrician (179422) Northmead, Sydney, Australia

Manpower are recruiting for a skilled Service Engineer / Industrial Electrician to join a leading global manufacturer in the food processing and packaging sector. This is a secure, long-term role where you will install, commission, maintain and service advanced production machinery.

You will be customer facing, supporting clients across Greater Sydney with some regional and interstate travel. The role is hands-on and best suited to an Industrial Electrician with proven experience in FMCG, food or packaging environments.

Salary and Benefits

• Competitive salary plus 12 percent superannuation
• Fully maintained company vehicle and tools package valued at 19000 dollars
• Paid overtime and weekend work at penalty rates
• Monday to Friday, 7.5 hour days (flexibility for overtime when required)
• Overnight travel fully funded by employer

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain and service food processing and packaging machinery
• Diagnose and repair faults during breakdowns quickly and effectively
• Deliver preventative maintenance programs
• Provide training to customer staff following installation or commissioning
• Recommend repairs, upgrades or rebuilds to maintain efficiency
• Complete accurate reporting and documentation using Microsoft Word and Excel

Key Equipment and Systems

• End of line packaging machinery
• Frying systems
• X ray inspection systems

What We Are Looking For

• NSW unrestricted Electrical Licence
• Industrial electrician experience in FMCG, food or packaging environments
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent communication skills, well presented and customer focused
• Willingness to travel regionally and interstate when required
