Job summary

FIP Brakes International in NSW is hiring an Industrial Electrician to maintain and troubleshoot heavy, automated rail manufacturing equipment at our Wetherill Park facility. This casual role offers up to $75.00/hr with a direct path to permanent full-time, including a proposed $50.00–$65.00/hr base plus 15% shift loading for permanent staff.

You will work on automated systems, control panels, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment while upholding strict AS/NZS 3000 safety standards and contributing

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted NSW Electrical Licence (Qualified Supervisor) is required.
• Experience in industrial or heavy manufacturing environments is essential.
• Strong fault-finding skills across machinery and control circuits.
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident status required.
• Pass pre-employment checks as part of the onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Drive uptime of heavy production equipment through maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Work with automated mixing plants, heavy presses, control panels, and hydraulics/pneumatics.
• Perform fast fault diagnostics and implement equipment improvements.
• Enforce workplace safety and compliance with AS/NZS 3000.

• Complete fast fault diagnostics, resolve machine breakdowns, and implement continuous equipment improvements.
• Enforce strict workplace safety and ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000 electrical standards.

What We're Looking For
