Job summary

IPD Group Limited is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer - Industrial Communications to join the Product Management and Pre-Sales team. The role supports growth across NSW, QLD or VIC, delivering technical expertise, demonstrations, PoCs, and customer training throughout the sales cycle.

You will work with sales, customers and vendors to craft tailored solutions, provide market feedback, and contribute technical content to portfolio growth. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Tertiary or trade qualifications with 5+ years' experience in Industrial Communications or Industrial Networking.
• Experience in sales, pre-sales, technical solutions, or technical consulting roles.
• Hands-on experience with Industrial Communications and networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to understand customer requirements and tailor Industrial Communications solutions.
• Design, present, and support technical solutions through demonstrations, PoCs, workshops, and training.
• Provide hands-on technical expertise across Industrial Communications and networking technologies (switching, routing, VLANs, L2/L3).
• Act as trusted advisor, supporting customers, consultants, OEMs, contractors, and system integrators.
• Build strong customer relationships via technical consultation, site visits, and remote engagement.
