Job summary

HP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Service Technician transitioning into Commissioning for Sydney and Melbourne projects. You will focus on commissioning industrial chiller systems, including startup, controls integration and handover for data centre and critical infrastructure projects.

You will build on HVAC/refrigeration experience and move away from reactive maintenance, gaining exposure to new equipment and larger-scale installations.

Qualifications

• Strong HVAC, refrigeration or chiller experience.
• Experience with fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Ability to commission start-ups, testing, controls and handover.

Responsibilities

• Commission large industrial chiller systems from start-up through functional testing and handover.
• Work across mechanical and electrical systems, chiller controls and BMS integration.
• Diagnose site issues and coordinate with customers and project teams to ensure correct operation.
